Award for Outstanding Young Professional

Below is the online nomination form for the Award for Outstanding Young Professional.

The deadline to submit nominations is November 30, 2018.

Every year, AFP highlights the work of up to five young professionals under the age of 31 who have already been successful in demonstrating exemplary, creative and innovative work in their careers, as well as a strong commitment to the profession, including engagement with AFP and community and volunteer work.

Nominees will be considered for the award based on the responses to the criteria in the nomination form (below).

Eligibility & Judging Factors
The nominee must meet the following criteria to be considered for the award:

  • The nominee must be a current AFP member in any category.
  • The nominee must be under the age of 31 on the nomination deadline date: November 30, 2018.
Nominees who meet those two criteria will then be considered for the award based on the responses to the following: (Note: The maximum number of words for the entire nomination is 2,000. This includes text for ALL of the criteria. Nominators are free to divide the words for each criterion however they like, but the total word count should not exceed 2,000.)

In addition, by submitting this form, I further certify that this award is being submitted on behalf of an AFP chapter, or if submitted by an individual, that the nominee has the support and endorsement of an AFP chapter.
